Power Engineering - Certification
To become certified as a power engineer in Saskatchewan, you must write and pass all exam papers within the class you are wanting to obtain as well as meet the requirements of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Regulations 101(1) - 105(1) and 107(1).

Limited Power Engineering - Certification
To become certified as a limited power engineer (Fireman, Refrigeration Operator, Oilfield A, Traction or Commercial) in Saskatchewan, you must write and pass the exam papers. Once you have done this, your certificate of competancy will be mailed out to you.
To become certified as a limited power engineer (Oilfield B) in Saskatchewan, you must write and pass the exam as well as have completed an approved course and submitted your steam time (60 days).
