Changes to the Registration of a Pressure Piping Design & the new Pressure Relief Path Stop Valve Control Program

New programs released for use

TSASK is pleased to announce the changes to the registration of pressure piping has been finalized and is now available through the Codes & Standards webpage.  Follow the link at the bottom of this article to be redirected there.

In addition, the new Pressure Relief Path (PRP) Stop Valve Control (SVC) program is also available to facility owners.  The PRP SVC program replaces the old Pressure Relief Device Isolation Valve Control program.  The new PRP SVC Program has been expanded to include new options for the use of stop valves in pressure relief paths.  The expanded scope brings the program more in line with the requirements of ASME Section VIII Div 1 Appendix M and ASME B31.3.

The new PRP SVC Program is located on the Boilers & Pressure Vessels webpage.  Follow the link at the bottom of this article to be redirected there.

TSASK wishes to thank all the stakeholders who participated in the development of this program.  Their comments and insight helped shape the final programs.
