GST Now Applied to Some Fees!

The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) is a not-for-profit company established by legislation to perform functions previously done by the Ministry of Corrections Public Safety and Policing. As a result, the Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) now applies to all non-licence based fees.  This change will be reflected on applicable invoices, services and application forms.

Please note that weld test coupons are subject to Provincial Sales Tax (PST), in addition to GST.

Please discard any forms you may have saved in your favorites or as shortcuts and begin using the new forms, which are available here on our website.

Fees that are not subject to GST include:

• Annual Licence fees for Equipment
• Licence fees for Power Engineers and Limited Power Engineers (Fireman’s, Refrigeration Operator)
• Weld Test fees (not including test coupons)
