Pressure Equipment Inspectors

 

Re - Certification

Licenced Pressure Equipment Inspectors are required to pass a re-certification exam before their licence can be renewed. The re-certification exam consists of 25 multiple choice questions and candidates must achieve a minimum mark of 70% to pass. Candidates will have one hour and fifteen minutes to write the exam.

The exam will be available in Regina and Saskatoon on the last Tuesday of every month. The exam will start at 10:00 AM. Your application form and fee must be received before we can book you into an examination session.

To apply to write the exam, please submit application form LIB - 2001 Application for Pressure Equipment Inspector's Exam along with the fee to our office. Your form and fee must be received 21 days in advance of the exam date. Please apply directly to the office that you wish to test at.

Candidates that do not pass the re- certification exam will be required to write the three hour Administration exam. This exam is available during the regular Power Engineer exam sittings. Candidates may apply for this exam right away, but will be booked into a test date at least 30 days from their last test.
