Pressure Relief Path Stop Valve Control Program

Expanded Application of ASME Sec VIII Div 1 Appendix M and ASME B31.3

This program now replaces the old "Pressure Relief Device Isolation Valve Control Program" entirely.

The new Pressure Relief Path (PRP) Stop Valve Control (SVC) Program now resides in the inspections group at TSASK.  The new program will be audited on a 3 year cycle.

Current PRD Isolation Control Valve Program holders shall not make any changes to their existing programs.  TSASK shall be contacting current program holders to make arrangements to convert the existing programs to the new requirements of the PRP SVC Program.  If an owner has an urgent need to make changes, they shall contact TSASK immediately to arrange for the implementation of the new program.

TSASK acknowledges that the implementation time frame for the new program shall be a few years.  All owners shall be given time to upgrade their current programs.
