June 1, 2016 - Steam Traction Engine Program Implementation Deferral
STEAM TRACTION ENGINE – Program changes for Steam Traction Engine (STE) Operators
The Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) shall be deferring the implementation of the following items with regard to STE Operators:
- Graduated Licence Program (Learner’s Licence)
- Provincial Practical Test
- Restricted Tickets for STE Operators who have not completed the Practical Test
- TSASK issued Log books
There will be no Graduated Licence program this year. As a result, any new candidates who wish to obtain their STE Operator licence shall be eligible to write the provincial written exam upon payment of the exam fee. For Steam Traction Engine Operator exams, follow the blue boxes - Limited Power Engineering in the calendar.
Candidates may apply for a Steam Traction Engine Operator licence upon successful completion of the written exam. There will be no practical test component required this year. Applications for licensing may be completed by clicking here.
