Overview
In order to be eligible for a LPEI Class 1 or 2 certificate or licence, you must first write and pass the Administration Exam. This exam is available to be written at any of our Power Engineer exam sittings that are available on our online exam dates. You will be allowed 2 hours to complete this exam. To pass you must obtain a mark of at least 70%.
This provincial examination covers the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act, Regulations and CSA B51-14. It is intended to educate and demonstrate the applicant’s knowledge of Saskatchewan and Canadian requirements.
Upon successful completion of the administration exam, an email will be sent to you regarding the application and payment for a 5 year licence.

Please make sure that you have met all of the requirements before applying for a LPEI administration exam as all applications are non-refundable.

Please submit your completed application at least 14 days prior to the date of the exam. Note: This application fee is non-refundable/non-transferable.
Once you have passed this exam, you will need to apply for a LPEI licence and/or certificate.
