Overview
CSA Group has recently published the 2025 editions of the B149 Gas Codes. The CSA B149 Series provides important guidance for the safe handling and storage of natural gas and propane, as well as the installation of related appliances and equipment. This includes vehicle refueling, stationary gas engines and turbines, and systems that generate and use digester gas, landfill gas, and biogas.
These latest editions reflect advancements in technology, industry practices, and safety requirements to meet evolving needs in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
The adoption of the 2025 CSA B149 Gas Code Series by the province of Saskatchewan is currently proposed to occur in 2026.
