| Special Request |
If requested to conduct a weld test in a place and time that is not offered regularly by TSASK, a special request can be made to arrange to have a TSASK examiner witness the welder tests performed. The fees payable for the special test are subject to the following:
- Per weld examination fee (see Pressure Welder’s Licence by test)
- Additional professional service rate:
- $155/hour plus GST, subject to regular working hours.
- $232.50/hour plus GST when services are performed during regular overtime working hours or when services are requested without providing 24 hours prior notice.
- Travel-related expenses:
- Rate for Vehicle Travel – per kilometer: $0.69
- Rate for Meals – per meal: $20.00
- Rate for Accommodation, Incidentals (including parking), and Flights: Actual Cost

| Terms & Conditions |
- Weld Test fees are non-transferable after the cut-off date.
- Licences issued by other jurisdictions that are eligible for transfer are subject to the licence fee.
- Overtime working hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., and Saturdays & Sundays inclusive.
- The ‘Appeal against the inspector’ fee will be refunded if the appeal is successful.
